Shinzi Katoh – Yamanashi Roll Sticky Notes

Step into the poetic world of Kenji Miyazawa with these Yamanashi Roll Sticky Notes, illustrated by renowned Japanese designer Shinzi Katoh.

The illustrations are inspired byYamanashi, a short story by Japanese poet and author Kenji Miyazawa (1896–1933). The story follows two young crabs living with their father at the bottom of a mountain stream, observing the changing world above them through the water. Shinzi Katoh's delicate illustrations capture the quiet, dreamlike atmosphere of Miyazawa's tale.

The roll includes six different designs that repeat throughout the 80 sheets. Each one is separated by a fine perforation, making the notes easy to tear off individually.

Unlike traditional sticky notes, the adhesive covers the entire back of each sheet, allowing them to lie flat and stick securely right to the edges while still peeling away cleanly. The Japanese paper surface can be written on with ballpoint pens, pencils and water-based pens.

Perfect for writing small notes and messages, marking pages, labelling everyday items or adding a decorative detail to gifts. They can also be used in journals, Traveler's Notebooks and scrapbooking projects.
