128 years is a lot of history! e+m is a traditional family-owned company founded in the Nüremberg area of Germany. They are specialised in high quality wood-turning and the manufacture of writing instruments in particular.

Their designs are tastefully minimalistic and beautiful, the materials natural and selected for their mechanical and aesthetic qualities, the workmanship truly excellent.

e+m Holzprodukte was founded by Mr Konrad Ehmann in 1899. 
Under his brandname Ehmann he produced more than 10.000 different models of nib penholders for customers all over the world and became Germany´s largest manufacturer of nib penholders.

In 1983 Mr. Wolfram Mümmler, the fourth generation of the founder family, restarted the production of wooden writing instruments.

e+m 's philosophy is to keep the old traditions of classical manufacturing alive and to fuse them with the modern production process.

More than 100 years after the foundation, e+m Holzprodukte are again one of the leading manufacturers of wooden writing instruments.
