The Roterfaden Taschenbegleiter is a fantastic personal organiser designed and crafted in Germany.
Taschenbegleiter means "bag companion" in German (Roterfaden means red thread) - you'll definitely want to carry yours wherever you go!
Based on a steel clip system and using very high quality materials, Taschenbegleiters are very robust and long-lasting and perfect for both personal and professional use. Thanks to the clips and the generous pockets, the system is highly flexible.
The company was founded in 2006 by designer Beate Mangrig. Roterfaden craft their products by hand with a focus on sustainability and design.
Forming partnerships with local manufacturers has always been key for them: a small sewing studio in Saarland, engravers a few streets over, German tanners, printers, illustrators in the Rosenstraße & the family-run business in Bavaria that produces the stainless steel clips. Roterfaden retailers are also often smaller, owner-run shops.
