Miyako Hitohira Japanese Memo Pad – Yagasuri

A compact Japanese memo pad featuring  Yagasuri, a traditional geometric pattern inspired by the feathers of an arrow.

Yagasuri is a classic Japanese auspicious motif. As an arrow flies forward and does not return, the pattern has traditionally been associated with  moving forward and new beginnings, and has also been used for occasions such as weddings and graduations.

The memo pad comes in a colourful  kimono-shaped package that can be folded into a standing holder, making the sheets easy to reach on a desk. Inside are 70 memo sheets in two coordinating designs. A practical piece of Japanese stationery for short notes and messages, and a small introduction to traditional Japanese pattern design.
