    The MD Drawing Pen is a simple, precise fineliner designed to complement the writing and drawing experience of MD Notebooks. Made in Japan, it uses black water-based pigment ink that is water-resistant, making it suitable for writing, sketching, illustration and combining line work with watercolour.

    Its firm tip provides a stable and consistent line, even with relatively strong writing pressure. The cream-coloured barrel echoes the characteristic tone of MD PAPER, while a line printed directly on the barrel indicates the actual line width, making it easy to identify each pen at a glance.

    Choose from three tip sizes depending on how you like to write or draw:

    • 0.1 mm : for very fine details, small handwriting, precise annotations and detailed illustrations.

    • 0.3 mm : a versatile everyday size for writing, journaling, sketching and general illustration.

    • 0.5 mm : for stronger lines, quick sketches, headings and more expressive drawing.

    Use the MD Drawing Pen for writing and annotations in your notebook, technical or freehand sketches, urban sketching, journaling and illustration. Thanks to its water-resistant pigment ink, it can also be used to create outlines before adding watercolour once the ink has dried.
