We saw these beautiful dishes for the first time 2 years ago when visiting the Classiky flagship store in Kurashiki. The simplicity of the design reminded us of early saxon drawings and appealed to a fundamental aesthetic instinct which we probably inherited unconsciously as part of our cultural heritage.
The dishes are tiny, perfect for coins or paperclips, but also great in the dining room for small cakes to accompany your Japanese tea or for soy sauce.
