Beautiful washi tape designed by Belgian artist Bocal de Cornichons (jar of gherkins).

About Bocal de Cornichons:

Laurence is a fifty-something young, self-taught Belgian artist. Her grandmother used to say that she could hold a pencil before she could walk. Drawing is her passion, her subjects are inspired by her travels (especially in Belgium), famous paintings or alphabets.

Laurence’s artworks are always full of life and an irresistible sense of humour. Deceptively naive at first glance, the drawings are very intricate and show hints of William Morris and medieval art. We’ve been fans of her work for years and we are delighted to have had the opportunity to work with her on this project. Follow her on Instagram.
