Taylors Eye Witness Single Blade Barlow Pocket Knife - Ox Horn Worked Back

This knife has a classic mirror-polished stainless steel clip-point blade. The Barlow was originally designed as a simple but practical everyday knife, this version is fitted with a beautiful, translucent ox-horn handle, which feels fantastic in use.

Thought to have been first manufactured in Sheffield in the 1680s, the Barlow knife has a long bolster, an elongated oval handle, and one or two blades. It is said to have been named after its inventor. In spite of its British origins, the Barlow knife has been very popular in the USA since the early nineteenth century and was mentioned in Mark Twain's Tom Sawyer.
