A complete Japanese notebook decoration kit featuring the delicate, nostalgic illustrations of eric, an artist known for her miniature drawings inspired by vintage stationery and everyday objects.
Developed by Nippon Shuppan Hanbai (Nippan) as part of its Notebook Deco Kit collection, the set brings together everything you need to create and personalise a small journal. It includes a square grid notebook, eight sheets of decorative paper, a sticker sheet and an inspiration booklet with examples of finished pages.
eric's detailed illustrations are filled with familiar objects – stationery, labels, stamps and small treasures – drawn with the charm of things collected and kept over time. The different papers and motifs can be cut, layered and combined, making every notebook page unique.
Use the included 140 × 140 mm square notebook as your starting point, then cut out motifs from the decorative papers and combine them with the stickers to create your own pages.
The elements are ideal for journaling, collage, scrapbooking and notebook decoration. You can also use them separately in your planner, Traveler's Notebook, letters or other paper projects.
An inspiration booklet is included, with examples that make the kit easy to enjoy even if you are new to notebook decoration.
eric is a Japanese illustrator particularly known for her intricate drawings of stationery and small everyday objects. Her work has a distinctive vintage feel, often evoking old stationery shops, collections of rubber stamps and drawers filled with tiny objects. Her illustrations have appeared on numerous Japanese stationery products and collaborations.
At Nomado store, we love the way eric turns ordinary stationery and everyday objects into tiny things worth observing and collecting. Her detailed, slightly nostalgic universe works particularly well with collage and journaling: there is always another little motif to cut out, combine or add to a page.
