Rayon Chirimen Koyomi
Rayon crepe was originally made as a substitute of silk. It has a better feel to the hand than polyester crepe or rayon, which is created mainly from recycled wood pulp.
It has a silky sheen that creates a sense of luxury, making it popular for wrapping with a Japanese taste. It is wrinkle-resistant and easy to wrap. It fits well thanks to the stretchy material and is ideal for wrapping sake bottles.
Blue : “Nami ni chidori" is a traditional Japanese artistic design portraying birds flying over ocean waves. The motif is a representation of "Fuufu Enman" or simply a happy marriage. It also represents "Kanai Anzen" or simply general wellnes for one's family.
Rose pink : Kaiawase (a shell matching toy) was played by court aristocrats during the Heian period (when Kyoto was the capital of Japan). A symbpol of material harmony as only shells from the same pair will match.
It can also be used as a shoulder bag to wrap up your lunch or a precious gift.
Recommended accessory: see our Furoshiki handles (leather , polypropylene or wood) (makes it much easier to use as a bag).
