Few things are more fulfilling than sharing one’s passions!

We were delighted to have been given the opportunity to host the Traveler’s Company Stamp Caravan at No108, our brick and mortar store between October 4th and 11th 2025.

The Caravan consists in a set of special ink stamps that are usually only found in the Traveler’s Factory stores in Japan. Stamps are a major “thing” in Japan, you can find them in most public places such as train stations (Eki stamps), museums and temples (Goshuin), people even go on “stamp rallies”. The Traveler’s Notebook is perfectly suited to travelling and collecting these stamps and the stamp caravan brings 17 of them in one place while saving you the cost of flying all the way to Japan.

The store was open more often than usual (we are usually closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays) to give as many local TRC fans as possible the opportunity to drop by and stamp their traveler’s notebooks as well as check out the full Traveler’s Company range. Thanks to the event, we were able to meet many new TRC customers during the week, some of whom were visiting our store for the first time because of the Caravan.

We’d set up a special stamping station with seating to allow customers to stamp away in comfort (on average, customers spent 20 minutes at the stamping station). Our usual TRC display which includes the entire range of Traveler’s Notebook products was in its usual place, right next to the station.

The event launched on Saturday 4th, we had a great time welcoming a steady stream of visitors, guiding them around the shop and explaining the Stamp Caravan concept.

As a grand finale, we organised a Traveler’s Notebook meet-up on the following Saturday, the final day of the Caravan. To add some fun to the proceedings, we kicked off the meet-up with a mini letterpress workshop, printing special bookmarks on our vintage printing presses.

The rest of the day was spent chatting and sharing snacks with other Traveler’s Notebook fans, using the stamping station, as well as hot foil stamping and embossing Traveler’s Notebooks. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive and the atmosphere was relaxed and enthusiastic. We all agreed to organise more Traveler’s Notebook meet ups in the near future.

All in all, we were very happy with the results of the event, but more importantly, our customers were delighted and that is what really matters the most.

PS : Thank you to Traveler's Company and Misc Distribution for making this happen. Most of the pics in this article were taken by customers, we are also very grateful for their help!
