The Kate Jo Onion Skin Notebook in its Large (A5-ish size) format is premium Japanese notebook made by Takeo Paper products.
It features "Kaito Joe" onion skin paper, a thin, resilient, and translucent paper revived for fountain pen enthusiasts.
Onion skin paper was historically prized for thick tomes such as dictionaries, and was also used for official documents. Its lightness makes also it ideal for airmail.
The paper is subtly translucent, which users find useful for layering or tracing, though it does result in significant "show-through" or ghosting.
