PAL PLANNER 2026

One of our current favourite planner systems!

Designed by planner expert and popular influencer Bushimen(a Nomado Store customer for many years), we believe that this planner is a game-changer. PAL stands for PLAN and LOG.

We've often felt that Japanese planners can sometimes be overly complex, this one mixes clear and pragmatic practicality with Japanese quality.

Your PAL experience begins when you unpack the planner. The packaging is Apple level, everything clear and well thought out. We've been a bit crazy about the B6 format since Ateliers Phileas released their B6 cover and you'll immediately understand why when you pick up the PAL, it feels just right. The plastic cover is smooth and neatly finished, the paper feels nice with the slightest amount of grip, it was specially selected by Bushimen for the planner.

This is the fifth year of PAL, and they’ve brought some exciting updates as outlined below (the inner layout design remains unchanged). 

Paper Upgrade · Slimmer Profile

The 2026 PAL Planner now uses the renowned 80gsm writing paper from Japanese brand maruman, also found in the well-loved Mnemosyne notebooks. Smooth and reliable, it works beautifully with fountain pens, gel pens, and even highlighters.

Though dense and dependable, the overall thickness is about 2mm slimmer than the 2025 edition. Each planner also includes a sample sheet so customers can try the new paper before they begin.

Special Extras 

Each 2026 PAL includes:

• Cover Paper Set – 3 colors included, switch anytime.
• Mini Cutting Board – custom-made to match the size of PAL’s weekly frames. Perfect as a stamping base or for trimming materials. Mini-sized, double-sided colours, and comes with a strap — even works as a bag charm.
• Exclusive Pilot Juice Pen (0.5mm) – with “A fresh new start” printed on the barrel.

The actual diary section is split into twelve 1 month sections that include both monthly and weekly views.

There are two monthly pages per month, one an overview, the other more detailed. There's lots of space on the overview page for notes.

The week is spread over two pages, each day split into two columns. These columns are blank to allow you to customise them, for example using the included "to do list" and "done list" stamps. This allows you to easily plan your activities in advance and log the results. There's also space for notes on the upper left hand corner of the weekly spread.

Useful extras include :

• list pages (perfect for to do lists or planning a trip)
• table charts : great for project planning (GANTT), organising an event, tracking expenses, etc.
• notes: for when you need to take notes that are not related to a date in your planner, just brain-storming or writing a haiku.
