Tomotake / Masahiro Asatake
Born in Tokyo in 1973.
In 2001, he graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School of Dyeing and Weaving.
While he was still in school, he presented works using cloth as the main material, such as mud dyeing, embroidery, and patchwork.
After completing graduate school, he works as a freelance artist for interior fabrics for store interiors, displays, catalogs, and other artwork.
In 2005, he started producing original cloth miscellaneous goods as "Tomotake" for his wife and his companion.

Tomotake / Hiroko Asatake
Born in 1974 in Saitama Prefecture.
In 2001, she graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School of Functional Design.
After completing graduate school, she is involved in design planning for a home appliance manufacturer.
After she left the company, she started helping her husband Masahiro with his work and started her "Tomotake". She
is in charge of embroidery, product planning, and design of printed fabric MUDDY WORKS based on mud dyeing designs.
