The Superior Labor 6x6 Camera Bag (blue)

Superior Labor owner and chief designer Kawai-san is also a passionate photographer. Two of his most used cameras are a vintage Hasselblad 500CM and a Rolleiflex 2.8F TLR (twin lens reflex).

Today's camera bags are usually designed for cameras with a completely different form factor, Kawai-san decided that there was a need for a compact padded bag sized especially for these legendary cameras.

He designed the 6x6 Camera Bag to carry either a Series V Hasselblad camera with 1 x film back and a standard (80mm or 100mm planar) lens or a Rolleiflex-sized TLR.

The 6x6 is basically a well padded vertical pouch made from a beautiful grained leather with a robust hand strap and brass studs on the bottom.

One only has to look at the bag and pick it up to see the hours of work and passion that he invested in the design.

We use these bags ourselves (Rolleiflex 2.8F, Hasselblad 501CM).
