A Japanese classic! A super-practical compact diary based on the Kokuyo Survey Field Notebook that was developed in 1959 (available here).

Due to its compact size, resin cover and water resistant paper, the original notebook met the demands of surveyors working under rigorous conditions. Since then it has gained a reputation for being the optimal outdoor notebook.

This hard cover version of the Trystrams diary is lightweight and easy to carry around, the rigid cover also makes it easy to write when standing.

We love it for the materials, retro look and the high quality paper (fountain-pen friendly). Also perfect for indoor use.
